We are looking for a professional, energetic and self-motivated individual to join a leading and exciting alternative investment firm that solely invests within the alternative protein sector. They are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant who is also able to take on Office Management duties. This is an office-based role.

 

This is an incredible opportunity for an EA who wants to feel part of a team and be in the heart of the action supporting the Partners and the wider team of 9, as they aim to transform this sector by investing in companies that are in line with their mission. The ideal EA should be experienced working in a boutique environment, a start-up or venture capital firm would be preferred. You should have a positive “can do” work ethic, an ability to work well with others and be enthusiastic to get involved with everything that is required for the smooth running of the business.

 

THE ROLE:

 The role is focused on 70% EA support and 30% Office Management. the EA duties will include the following;

  • Diary/calendar management for the Partners who are amazing to work for. They have high expectations but want to work in partnership with their EA
  • Interaction with both internal and external contacts
  • General administrative support to the team
  • Coordination and management of internal and external executive meetings
  • Management of business travel schedules, both domestic and international
  • Event management

The role will also require the candidate to be the Office Manager. This will involve:

  • All Front of House duties such as meeting and greeting guests
  • Being the go-to contact for any office-related issues including building management
  • Sourcing, ordering, and maintaining office supplies
  • Being the go-to contact for Facilities issues and ensuring Health and Safety protocols are implemented and maintained.
  • HR duties- onboarding, recruitment assistance, and payroll/bookkeeping processing.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

  •  An Executive Assistant/Office Manager who is eager to step into a new and exciting environment and be the office lynchpin.
  •  6+ years of previous Executive Assistant experience required
  •  Flexibility to juggle a high degree of multiple and changing priorities with a keen sense of prioritisation
  • Advanced MS skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills and plenty of initiative
