A very exciting opportunity to join the administrative team of a world-leading alternative investment firm as an Executive Assistant. This is a very fast-paced role supporting a partner who will become an MD within 18 months plus two investment professionals and would be perfect for an organised individual with excellent English and German skills.


The firm:

A global alternative investments firm which operates across multiple asset divisions and that has around 300 employees across Europe with a strong team of circa 40 support staff. The team works closely together across all locations and the EAs meet up 3-4 times a year in London or other European locations. The EAs are very collaborative across all European locations and they pride themselves on being an extremely high-performing team.


The role:

This is a great opportunity to support an incredibly ambitious partner who is a key deal-doer for the DACH region. He sits on the board of multiple portfolio companies and travels extensively so he needs a first-class Executive Assistant to support him.

Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

–        Answering calls and handling correspondence

–        Managing diaries and calendars and dealing with issues such as conflicting schedules and time zones

–        Organising complex international travel – the partner travels weekly

–        Administrative tasks such as the handling of business expenses and filing of documents

–        Ad hoc duties and projects to support the rest of the administrative team


The candidate:

The perfect candidate for this role would have outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills and be adaptable to keep up with a fast-paced environment. They would also work well as part of a team and be proactive and positive in their approach, whilst also possessing the following experience:

–        Fluent German and an excellent proficiency of English

–        Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Team Assistant

–        Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

–        Ability to interact with senior team members

–        Excellent written and oral communication skills

–        Experience working in an international environment liaising with internal and external stakeholders
