Executive Assistant – Investment Banking – Frankfurt
A fantastic new opportunity for a German and English-speaking Executive Assistant to work in the Frankfurt office of a leading global investment bank! Whilst you’ll mainly be supporting the Managing Director, you will also be offering admin support to the MD’s team who are often very busy. In your role as an EA, you’ll be working as part of a small team, made up of about 6 other administration professionals. Fluency in both German and English is essential as although German is used in the office, the global element of the firm means there will be constant communication with the firm’s other offices around the world in English for 80% of the time.

Whilst the firm does offer an attractive home-office option for some days of the week, their Frankfurt offices have a really positive and sociable feel to them so many of their current employees choose to head into work each day. Being a global investment bank, the teams occupy various locations and they all liaise with one another. There would also be opportunity to meet and build relationships with the administration team in London which would include travelling to London and visiting the offices whilst there!
As a firm, they are very well established and have spent many years perfecting the financial services they provide to their customers who span across three continents around the world.
The role
You’ll be working closely with the other members of the administration team, mostly in Frankfurt to carry out a full range of administrative duties. Your responsibilities will include:
– Extensive diary management for the Managing Director and their team
– Email and inbox management
– Project management
– Event organisation with the opportunity to attend these events
– Working on Salesforce and other IT programmes
– Administrative support for deals
The candidate
The firm are looking for their successful candidate to have an optimistic attitude towards their role and a willingness to learn. As well as having experience in Investment Banking, the candidate should be able to speak both German and English fluently. 80% of the role will require communication in the English language whilst German will be used when conversing with colleagues in the office.
The candidate would need to have excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in using a range of IT programmes is vital as the role would require use of these on a daily basis as well as being on hand to offer IT support to others.
