Executive Assistant/Joint Office Manager – Asset Management Firm, Frankfurt
An exciting new role for a German and English-speaking Executive Assistant within an Asset Management firm based in Frankfurt, with more than twenty years’ experience in the industry! You will be responsible for carrying out classical EA duties for four investment professionals, two of which are managing directors. Approximately 40% of the role is office management which you will share with the other EA. Ability to write and converse in English to a professional level is vital due to the firm’s presence globally, with German also being essential.

The role
You’ll be working closely with the other executive assistant on the team and on occasion, work with them to support others within the office in addition to those your normally support. Liaison with the EAs in the firm’s London and Paris offices is common and your initial induction will be carried out in London. After the onboarding process is complete, you will return to the Frankfurt office. The role involves a full range of administrative duties and will include:
- Extensive diary management across different time zones
- Working on and supporting others with a range of IT programmes
- Organising events including lunch and dinners
- HR admin duties
- Legal administrative tasks
- Arranging international travel although this is mostly Europe based
- Shared office management duties shared with your EA colleague
The candidate
The firm are looking for someone who mirrors their core values and as a result, can seamlessly slot into their current team. A friendly and polite face who is passionate about their role. Experience working in a fast-paced role within the financial sector is ideal however, the firm are also open to meeting people who have provided outstanding customer service in the hospitality industry.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong competency of Microsoft Outlook is essential. Advanced professional English is important as the directors will require you to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. German is used in the office on a day-to-day basis so naturally, this is also essential.
