HR Generalist

THE ROLE
This is a hands-on HR Generalist / Payroll Specialist role supporting a lean, high-performing two-person HR team. This individual will act as the right hand to the HR Business Partner and will take full ownership of payroll while supporting broader HR operations.
The firm is looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow into a broader HRBP function over time.
Key duties include but are not limited to…
Payroll Administration
Own and process U.S. payroll bi-monthly via ADP Workforce Now
Manage off-cycle payroll, bonuses, and T&E reimbursements
Support international payroll (UK and Luxembourg)
Review payroll registers and resolve discrepancies
Benefits Administration
Manage open enrollment and ongoing benefit updates
Liaise with carriers and audit invoices
Administer the firm’s 401(k) plan, including manual uploads and compliance tracking
HR Operations
Maintain the HRIS and partner with vendors on automation
Oversee onboarding and offboarding
Coordinate employee training sessions
Performance & Reporting
Assist in building performance review templates and workflows
Support compensation and bonus tracking
Prepare HR metrics and dashboards using advanced Excel
Growth Areas

Have 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations or Payroll
Bring strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and HRIS platforms
Have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
Come from financial services or a corporate environment, preferred
Have strong communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills
Be collaborative with the ability to multitask effectively
THE COMP/BENEFITS
Base salary of $100K–$120K
Discretionary bonus of 10–20%
Hybrid schedule (5 days in-office to start; then 3/2 after training)
8:30am to 6pm hours

15 PTO days + 3 personal days + unlimited sick time
