A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team PA to join a global firm dedicated to investing in businesses across the poorest regions of Africa and South Africa.

The company invest in businesses that will create jobs and sustainability in a variety of sectors, from infrastructure and agriculture, to finance and healthcare. There are around 400 employees in their London-based office in Victoria, including 35 PAs. Every single employee is extremely passionate about what they do, who they work for and the mission of the company.

This is a Team PA role where you will be supporting a mixture of professionals ranging from MD level to Associate. You will work alongside one other PA to ensure coverage of the full team, circa 7 other investment professionals

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the team, in particular supporting the head of the Financial Services Equity Team and other senior team members. This will include focused PA support on the day-to-day organisation of diary management, travel, triage of emails and organising events for the head of the team, as well as wider team support on travel management, events, preparation of team meeting agendas, checking progress of certain team initiatives, supporting organisation of team information and knowledge sharing and other administrative duties. This individual will also work closely with other team PAs in the wider business support team (BST) on a regular basis in addition to providing coverage.

Your responsibilities as a Team PA would include, but won’t be limited to: 

  • Inbox management for the Head of the Team and being a true right hand
  • Organising complex travel arrangements for the team
  • Diary management and scheduling
  • Scheduling meetings across multiple time zones
  • Expenses
  • Projects and event management
