Joss Search win ‘Best Start-Up Company of the Year’ award
We’re proud to announce that Joss Search won ‘Best Start-Up Company of the Year’ in APSCo Deutschland’s Awards for Excellence 2023.
The APSCo Awards for Excellence primarily recognise the outstanding work of staffing companies and trusted partners in Germany. The awards are seen throughout the recruitment industry as a symbol of high quality and outstanding service.
Describing our win, the jury said that: “high quality and outstanding service are not just lip service at this company, but actually take place beyond the industry standard. The initiatives show that the needs of customers, candidates and employees have really been understood and that the focus is not primarily on scaling, but on added value for all parties involved.”
We’re grateful for their feedback and really value their recognition of the quality of service we provide. This is a key driver for us and is at the forefront of every interaction we have.
We’re delighted to have won the start-up award for Germany! The work that has gone into getting the venture off the ground and profitable within 2.5 years has been significant. However, I’m most proud of how we’ve stayed true to our mission, to champion hidden heroes, and how we’ve replicated the quality of service that we’ve offered for nearly 14 years in the UK. We know we’re providing the quality of service that candidates and clients in our sector deserve, which didn’t exist before we were operating in Germany. Staying true to our values and culture has paid off!

Jacqui Hauser, Head of Germany, and Hiie Nomm, Senior Consultant, had the pleasure of attending APSCo Deutschland’s awards dinner in Wiesbaden. They enjoyed a wonderful evening networking and celebrating with the other nominees and professionals within the recruitment sector.
What means the most to us is that we won not just because of our plans to scale and grow the business, but because we don’t compromise on quality. By focusing on Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg we’re able to keep our expert eye on the specialist markets which allows us to add significant value to our business partners in the main private equity hubs.
