Alyssa and Bridget are our dedicated Associate Consultants who are here to ensure our temps receive consistent support and engagement.
As their main point of contact, they’re here to source new candidates, build relationships with our current temps, organise events and to provide support to maintain a sense of community within our candidate pool.

Our temporary work varies depending on the need of the client, however, it’s typically a short-term assignment, varying from one day through to months.
A temporary assignment is usually requested to cover short or long-term sickness, holiday or to fill a gap following a resignation or team growth.
These roles can be requested on the same day or booked in advance.

For candidates who are also on a permanent search, temping can be a great introduction to a company and act as a working interview – enabling you to showcase your skills, without having to go through a formal interview process.
Many of our temps have chosen to work with us for many years and continue to partner with us exclusively to find their assignments.
Once we receive your application, one of our Associate Temp Consultants will review your application.
If you’re successful, you’ll have an initial call with Alyssa or Bridget and then hopefully have the opportunity to meet with at least two of our temp team.
If it’s a match, we’ll get you onboarded into our temp community. This will include a personal reference, 5 years’ worth of employment verifications and background checks via an online system. Please note – we expect candidates to action and complete onboarding on the same day as their successful interview.
After onboarding is complete and all the checks have passed, one of the team will reach out to you on a weekly basis for your weekly availability. This means we can now start considering you for live temp assignment opportunities with our private equity and alternative investment clients!
As quickly as possible! However, this varies person to person, depending on the speed of which the onboarding process is completed, as well as the volume of roles we have matching your experience, skill-set and requirements.
No, candidates don’t pay anything for our services. We work in partnership with our clients to source and support the best talent in the market.

To be successful in the private equity and alternative investment sectors, temps are expected to be extremely reliable and communicative. The most successful candidates are those who honour the assignments they’re booked into and always keep the Joss Search team up to date with any changes in situation or availability.
In addition, they uphold the highest levels of professionalism, have a sense of pride in their presentation and constantly maintain a 5-star service mindset.
The required experience largely varies from role-to-role and can change depending on the needs of the market.
However, our clients are typically focused on working with experienced business support professionals who have had exposure to the private equity and alternative investments sectors.
Our temp receptionist roles offer a potential hourly rate of up to $30/hr.
For temp Executive Assistant opportunities, there’s a potential hourly rate of up to $55/hr.
Our temps are enrolled into our Joss Search payroll and are paid weekly.
Helena became a Jossie in July 2016, initially as an Associate Consultant. Over the last five years she's grown to lead our temporary recruitment division in the UK and has built an outstanding team, fostered an engaged temp community, and created loyal relationships with clients. Helena is now our Executive Vice President and Head of our New York office!
Prior to joining Joss Search, Helena lived and worked in Val d’Isere and spent four years working at Foxtons in their internal recruitment team.
Helena loves to cook, dance, ski and hang out with her friends and very big family (she’s one of nine siblings)! Oh, and let's not forget, Helena loves to start the day with exercise and is always in search of the best classes!
Bridget joined Joss Search as an Associate Consultant for our temporary recruitment team in New York in July 2025. She brings over a decade of experience in financial compliance and risk consulting, along with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and complex business operations. While she enjoyed the technical challenges of the finance world, Bridget found herself most inspired by building relationships, mentoring colleagues, and supporting career growth. That passion led her to make the exciting move into recruitment.
Prior to joining us, she worked with global financial institutions, helping them navigate risk and compliance with confidence and precision. Her background gives her a unique edge when connecting with professionals across the financial sector, and she’s passionate about helping candidates find roles where they can truly thrive.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, exploring new places, and practicing holistic wellness. She loves hiking and getting into nature whenever she can and is always planning her next travel adventure. Bridget is also passionate about mindfulness and maintaining a balanced lifestyle, often finding inspiration through wellness practices that keep her energized both personally and professionally.
Alyssa joined Joss Search as an Associate Consultant for our temporary recruitment team in New York in October 2025. She studied International Affairs, Spanish, and Nonprofit Management at the University of Georgia, bringing a global perspective and strong communication skills to her work.
Originally from South Texas near the Mexican-American border, Alyssa spent her first year post-graduation in Atlanta before making the move to New York City.
Outside of work, she enjoys concerts, comedy shows, movies, and quality time with her family. Her passion for connecting people with purpose-driven opportunities makes her a natural fit for sourcing top business support talent in fast-paced environments.
